High-current design

We design electricity and grounding solutions mainly for railway infrastructure and station areas. High-current engineering covers e.g. design solutions for electrical networks, lighting, gear heating and electric line remote control equipment, including the design of the cable routes and grounding solutions needed for them. We also offer comprehensive grounding design services for engineering structures located on the railway infrastructure.

Usability, operational reliability and energy efficiency are the starting points in power current design. We also carry out lighting measurements and various surveys and condition assessments of electrical networks.

Electric track design

Our professionals in electric track design team can handle the modification work of the existing electric track as well as the design of a completely new track. In our work we pay attention to the project's life cycle comprehensively. Effective and flexible solutions in the design phase guarantee a functional and cost-effective end result. We also always consider the needs of operation and maintenance.

Our experts produce electric railway plans in their entirety for construction as well as for railway and general plans.

Electric track design includes, among other things, the design of voltage breaks and voltage groups. Proxion has been known for years as an expert in grouping diagrams and voltage breaks. Our experts also have a lot of experience and know-how in mechanical structures of electric railways and dimensioning design.

We are also experienced railway electricity network simulation experts and able to successfully carry out surveys and calculations of the power use of electricity networks.

Electrical engineering during construction work

We can make all the electrical plans of different properties. We have experience in office buildings, water treatment plants and power line equipment building, for example. We offer electrical design services from the 110 kV voltage level to universal cabling sockets. Through our partners architecture, structural and geotechnical engineering is also possible.

Our experts have been the main designers in several types of large design projects such as office buildings, museums and multi-purpose facilities. Of these our strongest competence is in the design of various special facilities, such as interlocking facilities and complex production plants/industrial plants.

Energy solutions

Proxion's energy services can help you with both big and small energy and energy infrastructure related challenges.

Our versatile expertise in the built environment, real estate technology, electrical design and electric vehicle charging systems serves as the basis for system- and supplier-independent electric car charging system mapping. In addition to a technical review, we offer support for the utilization of possible purchase subsidies, a financial review of the solution in both the long and short term, and of course, if necessary, our electrical design expertise in the preparation of final electrical plans.

Passenger information

We offer various passenger information system design packages. Our telematics and information systems team develops customer-oriented solutions together with our other engineering departments and as their own solutions.

Our design expertise covers the design of static signs, variable signs, announcement systems, induction loops, timetable cabinets and accessible signs for railway stations, travel centers, bus terminals and other public transport. In addition to traditional location planning, we help customers with the preparation of the necessary equipment requirements, telecommunications and electrical plans up to the preparation of commercial and technical procurement documents.
